South Africa Experience

Day 1: Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa

A ceremonial arrival rooted in culture and celebration.

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and enjoy a private transfer to your waterfront accommodations Settle in while taking in sweeping views of the harbor and skyline.

Upon arrival, your group will be welcomed by a professional traditional Zulu dance ensemble. Through rhythmic drumming and ceremonial movement, you will be formally welcomed to South Africa in a vibrant cultural introduction.

Optional welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Mandela’s Cape Town: A Full‑Day Historical Experience

Walk the path of resilience, resistance, and freedom.

Embark on a full-day guided historical tour focused on South Africa’s liberation story and the life of Nelson Mandela.

Highlights include:

  • District Six Museum, documenting forced removals under apartheid
  • Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront
  • Ferry crossing to Robben Island, with a guided tour of the prison where Mandela was held.
  • Visits to key Mandela landmarks, including Nobel Square statues.
  • Cape Town City Hall, where Mandela delivered his first public speech after release.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a Waterfront restaurant, followed by a relaxed evening or a scenic sunset stroll along the harbor.

Day 3: Daytime City Discovery & Sunset Celebration at Sea

Where heritage meets breathtaking beauty.

Enjoy a half-day Cape Town City Tour, exploring the city’s most iconic sites.

Highlights include:

  • Table Mountain Cable Car (weather permitting) for panoramic views.
  • Bo-Kaap, famous for its colorful houses and Cape Malay heritage.
  • Company’s Garden, the historic heart of the city.
  • Castle of Good Hope, South Africa’s oldest surviving colonial building.

In the evening, experience a private catamaran sunset dinner party featuring champagne welcome, catered dinner, music, dancing, and stunning views of Cape Town’s skyline at dusk.

Day 4: Cape Town Luxery Safari Day

Encounter Africa in its purest form.

Depart early for a full-day luxury safari at a private game reserve.

Highlights include:

  • A guided Big 5 game drive with opportunities to see:
  • Lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and other plains wildlife.
  • A lodge lunch is included before returning to Cape Town.  Evening at leisure.

Ghana Experience

Day 5: Journey to Accra, Ghana

The beginning of reconnection.

Depart Cape Town and fly to Accra. Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to the renowned Beach side hotel, a premier beachfront resort.  Evening at leisure to relax and settle into Ghana’s coastal atmosphere.

Day 6: Discover Accra’s Heritage & Cultural Heartbeat

Where independence, diaspora, and identity intersect.

Explore Ghana’s vibrant capital.

Highlights include:

  • Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
  • W.E.B. Du Bois Centre
  • Arts Centre with traditional drumming
  • Makola Market and Agbogbloshie

Capture the rhythm, color, and spirit of Accra.

Day 7: A Journey of Memory, Heritage & Reflection

A powerful day of remembrance and understanding.

Travel from Accra to Cape Coast.

Highlights include:

  • Assin Manso Slave River (Donkor Nsuo)
  • Cape Coast Castle
  • Elmina Castle

This is a solemn and meaningful opportunity to reflect on history, resilience, and ancestral legacy.

Day 8: Traditional Akan Naming Ceremony

Identity restored. Heritage embraced.

Participate in a sacred Akan Naming Ceremony known as “Din To,” conducted in the presence of the Chief and Queen Mother of the Eastern Region.  Each guest receives a Ghanaian name symbolizing connection, purpose, and ancestral identity.

Day 9: Final Moments in Accra & Farewell Celebration

A journey that continues beyond borders.

Enjoy time to shop for handcrafted souvenirs at the Arts Centre.  Gather for a meaningful Farewell Lunch, celebrating the shared journey and connections formed.

After lunch, private transfers will escort the group to the airport for your evening international flight home.

You return home not only with memories — but with deeper understanding, renewed identity, and connection to legacy.
